If you’re looking for video influencers, Philip Bloom is a good starting point. Philip is a world-renowned filmmaker known for his ability to create stunning images regardless of the camera. Sam was formerly Head of Video at Beautiful Destinations, and his YouTube channel has almost 800,000 subscribers. He is a Canadian filmmaker known for his stunning travel videos and photography. He also has a very distinct style of editing, which has influenced many filmmakers online.

Jason Levine

Jason Levine is known in the industry as the ‘Adobe Jesus’. He provides informative walkthroughs on the sound editing process using Adobe Audition. Jason gives easy-to-understand, practical advice, making his channel a good starting point for those wanting to learn more about Adobe sound editing.

If you’re looking for detailed tutorials, This Guy Edits is the channel for you. Sven is an ACE (American Cinema Editors) Awards-nominated editor who’s cut for James Cameron, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and James Franco. He’s great because he gives a real nuts and bolts insight into his creative process.

Jr.canest

Jorge Rolando Canedo Estrada, also known as Jr.canest, is a Vancouver-based animator and creative director. He’s a master of shapes, textures and creative transitions and a true inspiration for many in the industry.

 

Colin Hesterly

Colin Hesterly is an award-winning director and illustrator within the animation industry. He’s versatile and very open-minded about styles. He creates videos that are perfectly on brand while remaining original and beyond the curve. Colin is an expert in 2D animation and character-driven narrative, and has worked across a wide range of mediums, including TV, film and commercial projects.

Sander van Dijk

Sander van Dijk has worked with the likes of Squarespace and IKEA. He creates amazing Adobe After Effects plugins that are very popular in the industry, and sets new trends with his videos for brands like Google. His work is often minimal, but very layered and well animated.
