When you’re organising a conference, you have a lot to think about, from securing speakers, to choosing a theme, to selling tickets and post-event marketing. You need to work with a conference video production team that will make your life easier by expertly taking care of all components of video production for your event. That includes planning, pre-event video production, managing multiple elements happening simultaneously (e.g. seminars, keynotes, live streaming and round tables), creating highlights videos, fast-turnaround editing, animating and formatting filmed content for your preferred broadcast platforms.
Our highly talented team of filmmakers have produced videos for over 500 conferences, with clients that include Johnson & Johnson, Gartner, the Financial Times and EY. Our cinematic event films have been used to secure sponsorship, attract registrations and extend the reach of an event. Watch some examples of our work below, or keep reading for our conference video production tips. Or, if you’re ready to discuss your event with a specialist, contact our managing director, Jamie.
Our conference video production specialists will work closely with your team of planners, administrators and marketers to make sure that your conference is a success. We understand the unique requirements of conference video making, whether that is film or animation, and we will be able to tailor our approach to ensure your event runs smoothly: that might require same-day editing, drone filming, multiple shoots happening simultaneously, time lapses, or early starts to enable interviews with key speakers before the event.
We have worked on conferences around the world, and have consistently left our clients delighted. They’ve described us as “easy to work with”, “positive”, “reliable”, “professional” and “creative”.
Our conference video production tips
Your conference video planning should ideally start when your conference planning starts. You’ll want to choose a venue that works for filming (with minimal background noise and advantageous lighting). And it’s important to liaise with the venue on their IT, video and audio set-up, as your video team will be working closely with them on the day.
Bring your theme to life
Whatever your chosen theme or unifying message for your conference, it’s important that it filters throughout all your event collateral. If you’re producing a pre-event video, then it’s worth making the theme central to that video. And your conference video production team needs to be briefed to keep the theme at the heart of all content they produce.
Go for sponsors
Video can be effectively employed to help highlight your event to sponsors, to thank them for their support and to help them promote the event to their own networks. Sponsors are of course key to the success of any conference, and it’s important that they are made to feel special throughout. Video can make a major contribution to this.
Make it work
It’s really important that your conference videos deliver value. Make it easy for viewers to register by embedding your registration form in your pre-event video. Or include calls-to-action in your post-event marketing video, to turn video views into leads, fans or customers. And measure engagement to identify areas for improvement for next year’s event.
